How To Get Him To Talk To Me

If we knew how to get him to talk, then we wouldn’t be where we are today.

Communication is THE problem in EVERY marriage.  Yet what we talk about:

He doesn’t care about me…
He has crappy parents…
He is not nice to me at all…
He thinks I’m his maid….

Where does it end?

Answer: When you want it to. When you decide it ends.

How? BE DIFFERENT.  BE AMAZING.  COMMUNICATE!!!

It’s not rocket science.

Last Saturday I went to a church function with a friend of mine who is dating the pastor there. I met an older man who said he was getting divorced.  How long was he married?  57 years.  😳.
SERIOUSLY????

My response: “Why…?”

He stared at me and took a breath and said, “Yeah…she’s just not nice to me anymore…”

Well there must be a REASON???  You can’t be married after all these years to just bail.  He said, “Yes, I’m probably at fault too…”  And what is he doing about it?  Leaving.  Moving out on his own and leaving her sad and alone.

Yes, he has every right to do this and after 3 years of therapy, both of them are stuck.  How to unstuck them?  It’s not rocket science, but it does take effort and energy.
