Midlife Crisis Marriage Success: Vinny’s Story

Vinny came to me on a call, crying.  We talked for several days figuring out what happened and what he wanted.  

Here’s the deal…what he really wanted, his marriage, he truly believed he couldn’t get.  He believed it was not possible HIs was confident that wife was in midlife crisis and she wasn’t coming back to him. Ever.  (insert laughter here)
You all know that if you follow me here and on Youtube, you know I disagree 1,000,000%! 

Of course you can have what you want!!! Of course you can get your wife back with you in bed, vacationing and having fun together!  Of course!

He would waffle, believing and then discouraged, sad, crying and in disbelief. 

Yet, he never gave up on her and his commitment to his marriage. There were people who died, suicides and a murder all happening in his family, and yet he stayed  focused on what he wanted: His family together. 

Some days he would say, “This is so hopeless, she doesn’t even talk to me!”

I said, “Yes! And this is the time we do the work to get you ready!”

He trusted me.

He believed me.

And it worked. Today they are still married, happily, and her midlife crisis is in the past.  He sent me a lovely note about how grateful he is for all that he has and our time together and his wonderful wife. As I worked to get him to come on my podcast, he kept sending me photos of the two of them traveling again.

He finally agreed to talk about his marriage success story!  I hid his face and changed his name…and you can hear from my questions as I poked to get more.  Hope you enjoy it!
